Item 1 of 1
Mount Meru, also known as Sumeru, Sineru, or Mahmeru, is a sacred five-peaked mountain in Hindu, Jain, and Buddhist cosmology that is thought to be the center of all physical, metaphysical, and spiritual universes. The mountain is also mentioned in some non-Indian religious scriptures, such as Taoism, which was influenced by the arrival of Buddhism in China.
