Mount Bisoke

Mount Bisoke is an active volcano in the Virunga Mountains of the Albertine Rift, the western branch of the East African Rift. While it crosses the border between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the summit is in Rwanda. It is close to Lake Kivu and situated about 35 kilometres northeast of the town of Goma.
